About The Owner
Hal’s expertise in print and marketing goes back 23 years, when he started working at a print shop in Arizona in ‘97. He started his career there delivering products and meeting customers. It is there that he learned how to recognize and assess client needs. He then moved to the bindery department where he learned about the processes and technicalities of print production while working with bindery and print experts.
Years later, Hal entered the world of graphic design. Being a self-taught designer, he mastered the essentials of color, typography, and layout and was able to produce great designs. Everything from a small business card to large storefront banners, you name it, Hal has designed it. But what sets Hal apart from others in his field is his over 22 years of experience in the restaurant industry. He’s been an Executive Chef, General Manager, and a Food & Beverage Director, so he knows a thing or two about food and business in general. By opening OTR Services back in 2010, he was able to marry his love for print and knowledge in business, learning new techniques and adapting to the ever-changing needs of his clients.
